Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) coverage reduces your financial responsibility for damages caused to the rental vehicle during your rental period. There is a responsibility (excess) which the renter would be responsible to pay if they caused new damage to the rental vehicle. And the remaining cost as per the terms and conditions would be waived.
**This waiver does not include damages to the undercarriage, tires/rims/wheels, glass or Convertible tops**
Renters may purchase a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) that reduces the renter’s financial liability to a minimum amount for loss or damage to the Rental vehicle as long as the renter complies with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
- Cost of CDW, for each full or partial rental day, may vary by vehicle class and rate.
- You should check to see if you have coverage for damage to the rental vehicle through your personal insurance or credit card, and if it is satisfactory for your needs as it may have restrictions or limits (e.g., size or value of the vehicle, length of rental etc.). It could also affect your personal auto insurance premium.
- Deductible amount varies on class of vehicle and each driver(s) criteria.
Third Party Liability (TPL)
TPL (Third Party Liability) coverage protects the renter against claims made by another party (a third party). In the case you are the cause of an accident, the other party can seek damages from you and the third-party liability insurance will pay for those losses to a certain limit.
